Cost Of Medical Education:
The cost of medical education in India is more when we look at the upper limits of the fee range. The fee ranges from 6 lakhs to 20 lakhs in India and it ranges from 12 lakhs to 15 lakhs MBBS in Philippines. One of the major reasons behind this is the facilities provided and the availability of government colleges. In India, if a student passes the NEET exam with good scores, then they can get good government colleges and their fee is really low as compared to the private colleges. Also, in the Philippines, they also pay a lot of attention to facilities as well. This is why there is a difference in the upper and lower limits of the fees.
- Duration Of The Course:
Students have to study for 5.5 years which includes 4.5 years of proper college education and one extra year of internship (paid). On the other hand, the duration of the medical course in the Philippines is between 5 to 6 years including 1 year of internship. This 1-year internship program is mandatory in most countries because this is the part where the students actually get to practice everything that they have learned either from the books or in their labs.
