NEET 2023
In 2023, the Government of India made a new committee instead of MCI with the name of NMC and as per the new rule of NMC, every Medical Student will have to EXIT EXAM in spite of where he did his MBBS from (India or abroad).
NEXT Exam will be conducted in two-phase that is NEXT-1 & NEXT-2. All students from Abroad as well as from India have to qualify for this exam. Without qualifying NEXT-1, students will not be allowed to get their provisional certificate/license for doing their internship in India.
Once they will clear NEXT-1 and after completing their Internship, then only they will be considered eligible to apply for NEXT-2, and based on the NEXT-2 Score, they will get admission in PG.
So, now the entry gate and exit gate for Indian Students or MBBS Abroad students, both are the same. So instead of wasting money in private Medical universities, MBBS Abroad is considered a good option.
When we are thinking about the first option, it will require hard work because, in India, there are only 70,000 seats for MBBS, and out of which 35,000 seats approximately are MCI Approved government university seats. Medical seats are very less for 15 Lac Students in Government.
As per the new NMC Rule, now the government will also acknowledge Private University 50% Seats but again it’s around 20,000 MCI Approved University seats in Private Medical University. And the rest 20,000 seats are for those students who have a good budget of around 90 Lac to 1.2 Cr.
MBBS consultants in India always put emphasis on students to book admission Abroad in Advance, but you have to think about government medical universities only. None of the universities Abroad is going to provide you admission in MBBS without NEET-UG qualified Results.
You have to qualify in NEET-UG, then only you will be able to think about MBBS Abroad. Also, you have to research about the MBBS abroad option once your NEET exam is over and what document is required. Once you will get the NEET result, prepare all documents.
