MCI Rules and Regulations for MBBS in Abroad – Indian students who want to take admission for MBBS abroad need to fulfil a few requirements set by the Medical Council of India (MCI).   • NEET Score can get you in the best MCI approved Medical University in a foreign land. No Eligibility Certificates are issued as MCI has stopped issuing it for students going for MD/MBBS in abroad.
  • Status of the Medical University is essential. Only MCI approved universities are valid in India if you want to practice here.
  • Eligibility Certificate is required by Students on registration for Screening Test who has taken MBBS admission in abroad before May 2018; NEET scorecard is valid for students after May 2018). You won’t be permitted to sit in the test if you don’t submit the required certificate issued by MCI.
  • There were exceptional for students studying in abroad to sit for the test. They are also advised to get Eligibility Certificate or NEET Scorecard which is treated as equivalent.
  • You should be 17 years of age on/before 31st December or else you can’t take admission outside India even if you have successfully cracked NEET.
  • The formal format as per MCI should be followed by the students while submitting an application.
  • You will need to submit original documents along with copies. This will be returned to the student after verification.
  • Reserved categories need to submit their certificates stating the same information.
  • If the course content is not as less than 10+2 structure of the National Committee, a pre-professional training of 1 year has to be completed by the students before taking admission.
  • You need to meet the eligibility criteria stated by the university.
