-
All India Quota (AIQ)
-
Deemed Universities
-

📌 Important Instruction:

✅ Key Points to Remember
1. Working on Weekends & Holidays
All colleges and universities involved in counselling must remain operational even on weekends and public holidays during the admission schedule.
2. Simultaneous Counselling
State counselling and AIQ (All India Quota)/Deemed/Central counselling will occur simultaneously. Students can participate in both but must adhere to joining rules and resignation timelines to avoid disqualification.
3. Verification Deadlines
States and MCC will cross-verify joined candidates post every round. These dates are crucial to confirm your seat.
4. Joining Deadlines Are Strict
Missing the last date to join results in cancellation of the allotted seat. Always join well before the deadline to avoid system errors or holiday disruptions.
5. Final Round: Stray Vacancy
The stray vacancy round is the last window to get an MBBS/BDS seat. No fresh registrations are allowed here — only already registered candidates are eligible.
🏥 When Does the Academic Year Begin?
According to MCC’s calendar, academic sessions for UG medical courses (MBBS/BDS) will commence from:
🗓️ 1st September, 2025
Institutes must ensure students are onboarded and oriented by then, especially those admitted in earlier rounds.
